Sankey Rodeo Schools
and
Equipment
We can help you produce a successful rodeo school of your own!
Get with us and we'll work with you to make your vision a reality. We do book well in advance so the sooner we get started the better! As you look into setting up a session in your area, we'll be happy to discuss what is needed in more detail, and how to go about putting it all together.
Here is some of what is required:
- A quality facility with arena set up for rough stock and enclosed area for films and classroom sessions,
- Bucking stock suitable for rodeo school training in both quality and range that is near the arena to be used,
- An advertising and production budget to get started (there is some risk in any business venture and rodeo schools are not easy to produce),
- A visionary attitude with some business risk considerations, and
- Enough workers to do the needed jobs at any school (open chute gates, run the de-rigging chute, etc.)
We'd be happy to mail or E-Mail you our basic but detailed information letter, existing schedule, and P.R. packet, if you think you have all of the above items. But feel free to call just to visit so we can answer any questions you might have as well. We'd like to work something out and look forward to hearing back from you to discuss possible dates and program objectives, as you see them.
SAFETY CLINICS
It has been an honor to be selected in recent years by both the National High School Rodeo Association Safety Committee and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association to do their safety videos. We have directed and conducted safety clinics for the National High School Rodeo Association, the National Little Britches Rodeo Association, the American Jr. Rodeo Association, and various other youth organizations. We are proud that we have earned their positive and objective appreciation for our attention to rodeo business and safety considerations.
Over the years we have been asked to conduct individual safety clinics for a number of state and national youth rodeo programs. If you would like to bring in a professional staff of experienced individuals to work with your youth, we'd like to talk over your goals and design a clinic that will meet your needs. We are proud of the reputation we have for giving concerned one on one attention, the ability to motivate and encourage, and the experience to teach effectively. Let us know if you'd like to look at doing a safety clinic in your area!
MOTIVATIONAL SEMINARS
"It's been exciting to take my experience as a professional athlete and rodeo coach to the business world." With engagements ranging from city Chamber of Commerce groups, sports banquets, team meeting, to the Billy Graham Crusades, Lyle has seen and met the need for continued encouragement and direction.
"Rodeo has provided me with countless illustrations that bring to light our everyday opportunities. The mix of drama and humor from the pages of rodeo life helps keep any group involved. If motivation and goal setting are important to you and your organization I'd like to be a part of your ongoing growth and success." Lyle has also been selected to represent the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association with their Rawhide program to bring positive role models to help set new standards. He has contributed with articles in their regular publication and appearances on their national speaking tour.
Maybe you'll even want to combine the seminar idea with an adventure experience like our Vision Quest Bull Riding Adventure Experience. Nothing brings out coachability like challenge and unknown territory. Nothing fits that description better than an encounter with rodeo's toughest and most challenging events - bull riding and clown-bull fighting. If you've ever wondered what it would be like this is your chance to find out!
